I own and rock people’s faces off teaching ballroom dancing at Dancers Studio in St. Paul, MN. My husband and I compete professionally in American style and wrangle eight children in our spare time. I’ve been teaching and competing in ballroom dancing for over 25 years and have lots of opinions on it. I am an expert by any means, but there are quite a few dancers who are better than me and I have a solid knowledge of basic technique, so suck it.

Smooky

It's Halloween, people.  Maybe, since you're still hungover from the "Halloween" party from last weekend, you forgot, but October 31 is the actual date of All Hallows' Eve.  

And since I haven't started listening to Christmas music, don't ring in the "New Year" at 9pm (yet), or let off fireworks for every night for three weeks (that's you, neighbors!) before July 4, the little ladies have not put on their "smooky" outfits yet.  

But I will give you a preview.

Let me tell you, I'm a little proud of the ladies' dresses.  'Cause I made them.  No pattern.  No swearing.  And completed.

    Oooooo! Pick me!!! It’s Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather for sure. I really REALLY miss making ‘stumes for Zak. I am jealous!
