I own and rock people’s faces off teaching ballroom dancing at Dancers Studio in St. Paul, MN. My husband and I compete professionally in American style and wrangle eight children in our spare time. I’ve been teaching and competing in ballroom dancing for over 25 years and have lots of opinions on it. I am an expert by any means, but there are quite a few dancers who are better than me and I have a solid knowledge of basic technique, so suck it.

– the Lion OS X update on my Mac.  Who else has this?  Is anyone else confused by the backwards scrolling?  Anyone?

– another case of vertigo.  Yes, another one.  Apparently, my awesomely low blood pressure and resting heart rate AND total lack of hydration (what? coffee doesn't count?) makes my brain want to take a time-out.  Lesson learned?  Maybe, drink some water?

– a trip to Guitar Center to hang out with the music nerds.  Snotty music nerds.  

– learning the G and I are both motivated by the same nihilistic principles.

– a crocheted coffee sleeve.  The pattern will land on this page soon.

You know, one of these

    I was able to change the scrolling back to the normal way.

    I like the new scrolling… It’s a little tricky, but once I played around a bit, it was better. I don’t get the finger controls on the fingerpad… Perhaps some wine drinking and laptop fun (he he he), will help? Let’s have a party.
    I like your scientific approach to the coffee cup cozy.
