Riot and Frolic

a mostly ballroom dance, but also a bunch of other stuff, blog

Theme of the week: progress.

To-do list: decimated.  Running: Miles and miles.  And miles.  Children: "being have."  Crafting: surprising amount of production!

Besides stitching up 20 rows at 5.5 feet each, I watched a lot of White Collar (a clever little show with pretty people that satisfies my loss of Alias from 6 years ago).   And that's important.

I decided to put a row of flowers amongst the stripes, so I experimented with a couple patterns.

I didn't like the gaping holes, so I did something a little different on the next one and it looks the same to you, BUT IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT!

Searching the interwebs, I tweeked a third pattern and got a happy little flower.  Seen here:

When I switched to the other color, they were NOT  the same size.

not quite

With a couple adjustments that would be fascinating to chronicle (and read), I came up with some mostly uniform flowers to attach together somehow in a row.  I'm keeping the details a secret to add mystery to this here blog.
