– breakfast at La Cuc (click on the link to get their cheesy, and therefore, awesome jingle on their home page). Mmmm, Mexican food. The ladies loved it. So did I.
– using the veeeeeery last bit of yarn in the skein for my rad hat. The pattern said you need 150 yards of yarn. "I have 125, so obviously, I'm set," I say.
Well, yes, but this was a little too close in my book.
I ended up using my accent color to finish off that stitch, just so you know.
If you check out the link above, you can find a coupon for 50% off that hat pattern. And did I mention, it's rad?
– talk about rad: new swing choreography from one of my favo coaches, Kasia Kozak. It's so bomb, it makes me like swing. 'Cause I'm really more of a Bolero girl. Yes, I'm calling myself slow.
– hey, Kitty.
– Santa's second trip to the Bratt house. My grandma went Christmas shopping on Wednesday and emailed me later that day to see if she could give the ladies their present early, like Thursday.
And who's gonna turn down their grandma?
Not me. She punches!
Holy smokes, do the ladies love it.
– a happy happy BIRTHDAY! going out to Mrs. Dessert. Hope you had a sweet one. (That pun was for you!)
– Mae Cake, taking care of business. Upon getting two cookies for dessert, she decided that the best way to eat them would be to stack them and get a two-for-one deal on each bite. Here she is making her cookie sandwich…
Smart, Mae. Smart.
